Cadence started with a simple frustration: reaching customers well had turned into a tangle of disconnected tools and spreadsheets. We set out to build something calmer.

In 2023, a small group of lifecycle marketers and engineers kept hitting the same wall. Every campaign meant stitching together an email tool, an SMS tool, a product-messaging tool, and a pile of exports to figure out whether any of it worked.

So we built the workspace we wished we had — one place where email, SMS, and in-app messaging live side by side, where audiences stay current on their own, and where the numbers you see are the numbers you can trust. Today thousands of teams use Cadence to send messages that feel personal, even at a scale of millions.

We're still a small, focused team. We care about craft, clarity, and the quiet confidence that comes from tools that simply work.
